I reassigned bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=243405
from hylafax to libtiff some time ago and did provide the patch one
month ago.
Actually I am working on a package for 4.2.0 that will conflict with the
actual debian libtiff version.
I will now contact directly the libtiff maintaner and ask him a new
upload including "our" patch.
