It's been out of out of beta for a while.  Officially it's in the "rc"
stage.  And would expect "4.2.0" to be out shortly...

But remember, they are all just labels....

Well, if it will make you feel better, I can give you a version which is
called HylaFAX-2004 so you don't have to run beta software...

Personally, I think 4.1 should be considered "beta", simply because it
is feature-incomplete, compared to what I would consider a "completed"
fax software package.  4.2 has more of the features, but HylaFAX will
probably almost always still be feature-incomplete...
