[hylafax-users] Vote for your Modem

 my modem is brand named of "Liang Xian", the famous brand name in China, its modem's chip-set is "MODEM ROCKWELL RC288DPi/MC143450_SUN_RR_THRES_E2/E4_CODE". Most of the time it works great, it give ferformance of almost not 'bad lines' during receiving fax.
   But i still have to give up using it, because it sometime give out this fatal error "ANSWER: Ring detected without successful handshake" on certain Fax machine, one being noticed  is "Cannon FAX-L350", however, the Cannon FAX-L300 working well.

   i don't know if update the firmware will help on this, cause, the vendor does not provide it.

    So, i decide to buy a modem, so i read the modem guide provided by hylafax.org, but i can not find the recommended modem in the shop, i am in Hong Kong.

   should have your kindly recommendation of the new(which properly still offer in the market) to me?
