[hylafax-users] new user - faxaddmodem problems

Hi All,

I'm in the process of setting up hylafax on a RH 7.2 box, using a MultiTech 
MT2834ZDX external modem (chosen because it is listed to work well with 
hylafax) on COM 1. I installed using the RH RPM (hylafax-4.1.5-1rh7.i386.rpm)

The modem is seen by wvdialconf, and works properly in Minicom. There are 
no other serial devices on this machine.

However, when I run faxaddmodem and it asks what serial port the modem is 
connected to, it responds with:

/dev/1 is not a terminal device

Same reply for /dev/0 (I wasn't sure if I should enter the serial port - 1 
- or the ttyS0 number zero, so I tried both)

I've poked around hlyafax.org most of the afternoon, but haven't found a 
solution to this problem. Any suggestions?
