Does a good config file get generated? If so, the problem with the
shell script is really just an annoyance. Under FreeBSD, the speed-probe
also runs amuck, but since a good config file comes out anyway, I
haven't bothered trying to find the problem.

It should be +39.10.1234567. The leading `0' in the area-code doesn't
get used.

Hi everybody,
I'm new to the list, so I hope this is not an already answered question:
My "send-only" environment:
SunOS 5.6 (Solaris 2.6.1) Generic sun4m sparc SUNW,SPARCstation-5
2 Zyxel Modems U1496E+, V 6.20 P
hylafax-sparc-sunos5.5-v4.0pl1-pkg
Ghostscript 5.10
After the basic installation (faxsetup, config-file "zyxel-1496e-2.0",
faxmodem), it runs o.k. (although I don't get the modem-status "running and
idle") except queueing of multiple fax jobs - all jobs are queued only for
port b (cua/b).
output of "faxstat -s":
HylaFax scheduler on faxzh1: Running
Modem cua/a (Fax-Number): Waiting for modem to come ready
Modem cua/b (Fax-Number): Waiting for modem to come ready
output of "faxstat -s" with 2 queued jobs:
HylaFax scheduler on faxzh1: Running
Modem cua/a (Fax-Number): Waiting for modem to come ready
Modem cua/b (Fax-Number): Sending job 64
JID Pri S Owner Number Pages Dials TTS Status
64 127 R fax 4467461 0:1 0:12
65 127 B fax 4467461 0:0 0:12 Blocked by concurrent job
With only one modem on port cua/a (faxmodem cua/a) activated, output of
"faxstat -s":
HylaFax scheduler on faxzh1: Running
Modem cua/a (Fax-Number): Sending job 67
Modem cua/b (Fax-Number): Waiting for modem to come ready
JID Pri S Owner Number Pages Dials TTS Status
67 127 R fax 4467461 0:1 0:12
I tried also different port configurations with the "admintool"
modem - dial out only
modem - bidirectional
initialize only - no connection
no effect ...
I couldn't find any help in the FAQ and other docu's.
Thanx for any useful hints !
Cheers,
