Problems with sending faxes

Hello!

I am currently using the newest distribution of Hylafax on
a Linux 2.0.18 OS. receiving faxes works fine, but I have
problems with sending faxes.
I am using a NoName Faxmodem with a Rockwell 144DP
Chip. The manufacture result of my modem is EXAR and the
Version is 7.7 (whatever it means).

When I try to send a fax, the modem dials. The other party
responds with the fax answer carrier, but my fax doesn't
recognize it.

Any idea where's the problem?
