Re: [hylafax-users] new community site

Am I way off base here, but isn't the HylaFAX/iFAX
paradigm pretty simple?
HylaFAX is geared toward those individuals who have
some combination of time, desire and technical
background and maybe not money :) to implement a fax
server system while iFAX is geared to the opposite
"here's some money just make it work and keep it
working" crowd.
It ultimately makes sense for iFAX to support HylaFAX
because it helps everyone and hurts no one. If I can't
afford a turnkey fax server, I can't afford it. An OSS
package provides a solution, but doesn't replace a
purchase...

All told, I'm surprised that iFAX hasn't done any more
spreading of it's name/logo around hylafax.org. I
can't speak for them, but I would chalk it up to
them trying to keep hylafax.org healthy and stable,
distinct from iFAX
