Just because one TIFF viewer can decode the image just fine does not
mean that the TIFF decoder on the Canon can.
Try generating the image with 1D-MH in your program (or submit the fax
requesting 1D-MH). This will make the image get converted on-the-fly
when it's being faxed from 1D-MH to 2D-MMR.
