Notice how the modem reports both +FPS and +FET. +FPS is the page status. It is generally reported by the modem when it gets the end-of-page signals from the sender. +FET is the post-page message. It is reported by the modem when it receives it.

As a side note, notice how the line-count (8F4) is reported in hexadecimal. That's a notorious Zyxel trait. (Not a problem, though.)

Notice that in this case the modem did not report +FET. Notice also that the line count was 2. What does this mean? Well, it means that there was some kind of problem receiving the page image data. I could hypothesize as to what the problem is or was, but it would not enable us to work around or fix the problem. It looks to me that the problem must come from either a bugfix on the sender or a firmware update from Zyxel.

Does the modem support Class 1? You'll fare much better with Class 1.
