[hylafax-users] e-mail notification forward?

I am running Hylafax on OS X.

When a fax fails the e-mail is spooled locally on my system in my Unix 
mailbox.  I would rather have these sent to another mail account.

I have added a .forward file to both my user account and to 
/private/var/root (OS X's root account) but my mail is still queued 
locally.

How can I force Hylafax to send the failure report to my alternate 
e-mail address?
