Which user runs HylaFAX on your system? Usually it is fax/uucp.

Modify your mail configuration. Make it to forward local mail for your 
local account to another mail-server.
I am not familiar with Mac OS X.

On Unix-like systems this could be:
a) modify the aliases-file
b) forward ALL local mail (if you have no local mail accounts)
