No, the message mention below is only an info from faxgetty, telling:
"there is another process running, which has locked the modem device, 
i will not be able to receive a fax until that process terminates"

in clear words: while you are sending a fax, you cant receicve another 
with the same modem.....

those messages are completly normal for HylaFax. nothing to worry about.
