RH: binary won't send; source won't compile (was: useless subject: Hylafax)

FAQ: egcs patch needed. Including the error messages would have confirmed
this.

Hylafax is *always* client server, even when on only one machine.

This should not be run manually, it is run by one of the daemons.

It seems likely that you haven't told Hylafax that the modem is available
for use. The preferred method is to run faxgetty from inittab, even if
you are configured for receive only. (Also something of an FAQ.) More
extremely, you might not have started the daemons.

Note, some Linux distributions still use /dev/cua0; you should use whatever
UUCP would use for all dialout applications, otherwise the locking may
break.
