Re: [hylafax-users] Modem hangs when receiving the fax

Hi All

Well, Lee ask me to upgrade to the newest version...

Upgrade to the 4.2.5.

It did not fix the problem.

Good. At least now we know that it's most likely not something that we've already fixed.

Here is the output in the log file

Any idea?

System: HylaFAX 4.2.5 FreeBSD 5.4

Now set:

 TracingMask: 0x10
 SessionTracing: 0xFFF

in your modem config file. Make sure TracingMask comes exactly before SessionTracing. Then let's see the session log when it fails... it will give us better information.

By the way, when it hangs do you really need to reboot? Or can you just killall faxgetty to get it to respawn and recover?

Thanks,

Lee.
