Thats what I was going to do, but its doing queue size while I want busy time.


One strategy to help with the throttling would be to use ModemGroup or ModemReadyState config options to designate only _some_ of your modem pool as outbound modems, thereby making sure some of them stay idle for reception duty. The result is a little more predictable than the 'intra-transmission' delay you propose.

Right now we only have one line and might be adding a second. Dedicating one line to sending and one receiving would work, however it wouldn't help load balancing when our load started to fill up two lines. However once we reached 4-6, or more, lines I think that becomes the best solution.
