Re: [hylafax-users] new community site

I annouce sub-releases and not releases.
The concept of a sub-release has never been discussed by "The HylaFAX
Development Team", nor has any mechanism been agreed on how to decide what
day/moment of CVS warrants being called a "sub-release". The approach of
hylafax-devel has been to do early beta-testing among developers, then
expose the mature releases to broader end-user testing near the end of the
process. The idea of daily CVS snapshots was discussed, agreed, and
implemented but no particular snapshot is 'blessed' or announced, people are
just free to pick it up at their own risk if they want to.
You're splitting hairs here. If you had the endorsement of the hylafax.org
development forum/community/list/team (whatever you want to call it) you
would not have had to surprise everyone with a new website, it would be
downloadable from ftp.hylafax.org!
