So should we unsubscribe from this list, if we're not commercial users
of the commercial versions of HylaFax, and instead join the SourceForge
lists?

Or are we all well-advised to stay on both lists? If so, will
cross-posting then cause any kind of friction?

For the time-being, I intend to remain an active participant on lists on both sites, myself. My preference, of course, is towards the Sourceforge site, but I really want to be as involved as my time permits in the broader HylaFAX community, not just Sourceforge. You'll need to evaluate your own needs, though, with respect to your mailing list participation.

Other people may feel differently, but I'm certainly not going to complain if a mutual subscriber posts initially to lists on both sites; however, I'm only likely to reply to one list, as continuing threads accross two different lists generates a lot of traffic for mutual subscribers (imagine getting three or more copies of all replies).

Thanks,

Lee.
