Same issue both times. cat: write error: broken pipe This is driving me crazy. Is there a way that I can pipe what is supposed to be sent through sendmail to a log file? When I pipe the output to a log file instead using steps 1 - 4 suggested byI'd try 2 more things. 1) execute the command by hand as user uucp omstead of root and see if it's ok 2) momentarily edit bin/notify and change $SENDMAIL into /usr/lib/sendmail.sendmail or whatever is the actual binary (not symlink), so to exclude symlinks problems. |
