Hi there, I am using a Performance Technology
MTN2300/MTN4100 modem. It is A PCI card based modem with up to 120 modem
instances. Now the data access to the modem instances "ports" on the
card will be via an API. I'm thinking of interfacing
HylFAX to the API using pseudo terminal devices on SuSE 9. ptmx (master
terminal), pts (slave terminal) In other words, instead of HylFAX talking to a
ttyS1 (real serial port) it will be writing/reading to a pseudo tty. On the
slave side the data received will be fed to the API. Q: Is this a feasible
solution ? Q: Is there a better
