TSI is the "Transmitting Station Identifier".

CSI is the "Called Station Identifier".

These are often programmed into the fax machine as the "ID" or "phone
number". Most people put in their phone numbers, but it can also hold a
subset of alpha-numeric characters.

These to can flip around with doing poll requests and turn-around (the
caller actually receives), but generally, the TSI is sent by the one
placing the call to send a fax, and the CSI is sent by the answering
party, receiving the fax.
