This encoding type is probably your problem. Many MUAs can't read uuencoded attachments; I'm guessing that your webmail program is one of them. If your uuencode supports the -m option then change ENCODING in your /var/spool/hylafax/etc/setup.cache file to be "ENCODING=base64".


I made an attempt in 4.2.1 to "forever resolve" the encoding problems as long as someone ran faxsetup, but alas, my attempt was flawed, and it will often cause ENCODING to be set to x-uuencode rather than base64. The flaw has been fixed in CVS-HEAD.
