Yes.  It depends on whether your modem returns the distinctive rings as "RING1 
RING2 RING3" etc or as DRON/DROF codes.  HylaFAX now supports both kinds but 
support for the latter was only just added and is now available in the latest 
release of HylaFAX - 4.2.1.   An official howto for configuration with the 
newer kind of distinctive ring is under way but an unofficial one is 
available at ftp://georgebell.no-ip.com(also available via 
http://wiki.ifax.com/tiki-index.php)  There is also information there on 
setting up HylaFAX to receive voicemail as well as faxes.
