[hylafax-users] Notify script error

I have modify the bin/notify script. It call "myscript". Into myscript a
call /usr/bin/fax2ps and /usr/bin/ps2pdf.
fax2ps work well, but ps2pdf say me an error:

**** Unable to open the initial device, quitting

But if a call the bin/notify script with the same parameters the I see 
into messages logs (/var/log/message), something like:
bin/notify "doneq/q5" "done" "1:21"
ps2pdf work!!

When I try this, I put myself from root user to uucp user, into
/var/spool/fax directory.

What can I do for use ps2pdf with bin/notify script? What's the error?
