Re: [hylafax-users] error on CAPI module

Stefiana,

I get those messages all the time. In fact every time a call comes in and everything is working just fine.

They most likely have nothing to do with your problem.

You might want to try and gather more info. Capture all syslog messages debug and up and find out if the system is even seeing the call. That way you can see whether it is at the hardware or software level.

Subject: [hylafax-users] error on CAPI module

Dear collegues,
I work with HylaFAX server form 2 years. I installed an AVM C4 card in order to terminate
4 ISDN BRI: so, my machine have received 8 fax simultaneously.
Recently I noticed an error that I don't understand. During normal operations, maybe becuase of malfunctions on the connection line, the capi module finds an error and stops its activities. A watchdog process activates the capi module with successful (there aren't error messages in merit) but the ISDN BRIs are not more reachable (composing the number there is not signalling).

Can you help me to solve this problem?
Thanks,
