Okay. Looks like you had a call come in but the modem couldn't detect a
carrier.
Having problem w/ the modem not being reset properly after a failed
incoming fax call..
I don't understand. Are you saying that the no carrier detection is the
problem or that the problem is that after a log such as this that the
modem won't reset itself?
problem is after failed call, modem isnt getting correctly reset.. faxstat
shows running and idle, but the DID line hasnt cycled properly, and the
light indicating DID stays lit..
These are DID lines.. modem is MT5634ZBA-DID latest firmware.
heres my reset strings/soft reset/etc.. can post full config if needed..
anyone ever seen this problem?
I've seen the problem where the modem cannot detect a carrier even though
there is one. The problem had to do with an incompatibility with
V.34-Fax. The receiver would hang up before the modem would stop
listening for the ANSam signal.
this is still 4.1.8 running in class 1.0 mode, so dont think V.34 is an
issue since all calls are either 14400/9600 (or worse)

Does this ever reassure anyone, really? Should the recipient care? Or is
this just a Spydernet exposure tactic?
www.mailscanner.info .. its a tag that it adds to the bottom of all
messages sent thru our mailserver.. what it implies is that the email i
send has been scanned for all current/known viruses with up to the hour
virus definition updates, and in this case, with 2 different virus
detection packages/all updated/etc.
