Re: [hylafax-users] MaxRecvPages somewhat unexpected behaviour - bug ?

Look at the end of those first 3 "sessions" and you will see an EOM signal, I suspect.

Exactly. There are three EOM and Hylafax treats all as one: there is a single log file for all.
Though, on the machine, I had to enter the fax number four times.

This behaviour was somewhat unexpected, but makes some sense, as well.

IMHO it remains a minor cosmetic scar that the last log says

Pages: 12
Quality: Normal
Page: ISO A4
Received: 2004:05:31 18:51:28
TimeToRecv: 7:22

combined with

The full document was not received because:

Maximum receive page count exceeded, job terminated

because this doesn't reflect the full log; '12' is not beyond limits. Nor is TimeToRecv any realistic for *that complete log*.

You may even argue that it is technically correct; it is so very much ! Only the user - hitting it the first time, like me - isn't helped too much with the hint that seems to contradict MaxRecvPages.

Thanks for your exhaustive explanation !

Uwe
