[hylafax-users] Anyone using Netcomm SCINTRA602x PCI Modems ?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone (in Oz) was using the Netcomm SCINTRA60x series PCI modems with Hylafax ? These cards are an 8 port board, with either 2, 4, 6, or 8 x IG1000 V.92 embedded modem 'modules' that plug into the card.

If you are using one of these, were there any specific challenges in configuring them, and what your experience has been with them to date.

My interest is in initially an outgoing only configuration, but I may look at implementing receive facilities depending on the success of the initial experience.

I'm curious as it appears that there is some variance in the implementation of FAX support in modems these days (I had some 'fun' with 'topic' chipset based PCI cards :-) and while I am attracted to the density of these cards, I don't want to spend the money on something that has glitches.

Thanks,

Sean
