[hylafax-users] Please help - garbage received

Hi there. I'm a new user, so please don't kick me hard.

I have hylafax 4.1.8 installed from sources, libtiff 3.6.1 installed
from sources, and a Courier V.Evr Intl on a self-made 2.6.5 linux.

As i can see, there's no prob in communications between the modem and
the box; receive logs show no prob, but the resulting tiff has nothing
common with original paper: just random dots, mainly in the beginning
of the page. I've played with flow control already - no real change.
What else can I shake?

The modem is live, it was working with previous installation of
hylafax whose config i've simply repeated. Please HELP!!!

Thank you!
 Billy.
