Apparently someone is faxing you that evokes a bug in the Class 2.0
firmware. Switch to Class 1 and see if the problem doesn't come up
there. If it doesn't, then report the bug to the manufacturer.
This seems to be a normal behaviour: the fax is idle, receives a
ring, produces the session log, and once done (in this case an error)
starts initializing the modem again.
Correct.
Am I missing something? Where else can I look? Previously this
error has been quite rare,
It probably just means that someone who has a machine with a
compatibility problem has started faxing you a lot more than before.
