[hylafax-users] Modem still wedged?

hi all.
After power failure I`ve got a problem with hylafax. The server seems to
work ok, still receives faxes and send them to users. But I receive an
e-mail, sent by  the system titled "Modem Wedged, check the log files
etc...".  every 6 minutes, on root account.
I don`t know what might happend to modem while the power failured, but the
server is protected by UPS, but without the modem = Multitech MT ZDXV5600.
I hope that accident didn`t destroy my MT5600 :-(.
Perhaps someone of you know, how to test the modem performance using getty,
mgetty or similar soft. How can I find the log files what hylafax
recognizes as "modem wedged".
