What I wrote here it's not correct in the context of
this thread. Altough the drivers are almost PCL you
can define the format in the output, the AS/400 has
support for that.

I never tried the sambafax script but maybe work.

It's a great system but IMHO only for database server.
If you want do some programming...And the tools for
tiff, ps included in the OS are not supported by IBM,
they developed them but that's all. The problem with
this iron is if you want something you must pay, alot.
But there two good things: java and perl can run in
the OS ;-).
