Yes, I am certain the modem supports this feature ,and I've even
set it as a default.

Well O.K. So then why is hylafax sending
   AT+FCC= 1,5,2,2,3,0,0,0
                                ^
at the beginning of every fax session?
this command is given in the beginning of every fax sesssion,
according to the logs.
Aren't you essentially saying here: "I don't do ECM" ?

I've also tried setting Class2DCCCmd: AT+FCC=1,5,2,2,3,1,0,0,0

in config.ttySN

But then I get in the log:

AT+FCC=1,5,2,2,3,1,0,0,0=1,5,2,2,3,0,0,0\r

These numbers are being set somewhere but I'm not sure where.

Thanks,

George
