Re: [hylafax-users] FW: Setting Inbound Capabilities on aper/senderBasis?
Hi, Steve
Here's a representative log (Fax Nums changed to 11111111111
(receive fax) and 12222222222 (sending fax). We really see this mainly
with the one particular remote site. We do get high speed
transmissions, and 2-D MR from many other sites without issue. I
suppose the short answer to your question is: "+FHS:A0". We sometimes
get a subset of the pages, and very often, we get the full fax.
Right now we have 270 faxes from this machine. Speed breaks
down as (using grep/cut/shell so forgive any counting errors):
63 14400
11 21600
189 24000
7 26400
1 7200
210 have been received completely (with 60 having errors). All
errors are +FHS:A0 type.
Bill

What exact errors are you receiving and what is it you want to
constrain? -----Original Message-----

Subject: [hylafax-users] Setting Inbound Capabilities on a per/sender
Basis?
Hi everyone.
I am getting a high number of errors from a particular calling machine.
The errors are "Unspecified Phase D" errors, and I am aware that they
will probably be fixed in the upcoming MultiTech firmware release.
However, I am ONLY seeing these when talking to a particular (Panasonic)
Group 3 fax machine.
I would like to setup Hylafax to only reduce its capabilities when this
particular TSI (or CID) number is seen. Is that possible? I see how to
do it for sending (through the info directory). How can I make this
work for inbounds?
Thanks
Bill
