Re: [hylafax-users] Mail Sent Faxes
First, my humblest apologies for asking this question more than once. I
can't find a reply to my original message or any other discussion in my
archive - I've just got fetchmail/exim working properly and I know I
lost quite a few messages during the setup. Sigh.
I have found notify and notify.awk. But, as I'm quite ignorant of shell
and AWK programming - I don't know what to modify. The sendmail option
shouldn't apply since I'm curently using Cypheus on Windoze clients -
and I want the mail copy to be sent regardless of how the fax is
generated.
I'm actually trying to generate two emails per fax. I want a
confirmation e-mail to be sent to the sender of the fax - and that one
should NOT have the fax attached.
I'm currently getting confirmation e-mails for my own mailbox - but I'm
the one "root" and "FaxMaster" are aliased to. My other users are not
receiving the confirmation e-mails. I don't know why not.
The second e-mail I want sent to a common mailbox for archival purposes.
That one SHOULD have the fax attached in tif or pdf format (so far,
using tif has seemed to work well with my Windows 2k/XP & Outlook
clients).
Could you please give a bit more info on where, what, and how to modify
to enable this behavior? Pretty please?
Daniel

This was answered the previous time you asked. It was also just
recently discussed again (this week) if you check the list.
