Hi Chris,

I followed your instructions and patched the source file by hand.  I 
ran sudo make install and I got a 'nothing to do' message.

So I re-ran the ./config, make and sudo make install but I am still 
getting the syslog errors:

[jake:~] admin% sudo /usr/local/sbin/hylafax stop
Stopping HylaFAX Servers.
[jake:~] admin% sudo /usr/local/sbin/hylafax start
HylaFAX: faxq hfaxd (without old protocol & without SNPP support).
[jake:~] admin% /usr/local/bin/faxstat
Service not available, remote server closed connection
[jake:~] admin%
