[hylafax-users] where to run hylafax

Hi.

I want to run hylafax on my firewall machine, it's the only one with isa
slots that take my modem.

I was intending on only running things like iptables, spam assain, and
hylafax on it. After reading the documentation and realizing that i
need an mta running on the machine, i'm a little more skeptical about my
decision. Is there any way to specify a remote MTA, i run a postfix
server in the dmz? Also, if the aforementioned answer is no, do i need
to have any ports open to the outside?

Does anyone have any "best practices" thoughts on this scenario, or on a
scenario that i should consider instead?

It looks as if hylafax is designed to reside on your main mail server,
is this correct?

Thanks in advance.

Aaron Martinez
