A T/A is a serial device that handles all of the ISDN communications. I
have no experience at all with this. I recommend a good internal ISDN
modem. As the external box handles two ISDN lines, but has only one
serial connection, I don't see how this would work.

As I said, use internal. The Eicon Diva Server or the Digi Datafire are
good; in Europe Digi has other models that may be better.
