Yes, in Class 1.  But, as I've said, I think that all modems support 2-D
with HylaFAX in Class 1 because HylaFAX controls that whereas in Class 2
that is provided by the firmware.  I'm not sure on this, so I may be wrong.

Well, everything *looks* as if it should select 2-D.  I can't really say
for sure why it's not, but I can show you one of my logs that does what it
