There is a linux support faq on www.avm.de , support, linux-faq
page seems to be down for me currently, the linux faq is on the right
side of the page

AFAIR there is a complete readme in capi4hylafax.
Can you send faxes without hylafax? (as described in the readme)
have you created the config file which replaces the modem config file?

Current software should be on ftp.avm.de,
patches, enhancments are on this private site: ftp://ftp.in-berlin.de/pub
