I don't know that the list is outdated, I think HylaFax just works better
with older style modems, most of which can still be gotten either new or
refurbished. We had some problems with HylaFax, got a Refurbished Multi-Tech
MT1932ZDX, with a ten year manufacturers warranty no less, and we have had
no problems since. Multi-Tech is still in business and makes great modems, I
don't know about internal though, I've always had issues with Linux and
internal modems.
