It would seem that HylaFAX is incapable of 2-D MMR in Class 1.

HylaFAX will not choose to "USE 2-D MR" unless it has faxed to there before
and knows the capabilities of the remote. But at *no* time do my Class 1
modems "USE 2-D MMR".

I don't think that a Class 2 command will be used or of any use while in
Class 1.
