I don't know if this specific problem has been solved or not, and I didn't
review what the logs said the problem was, either, but it would be *highly*
advisable to upgrade to current CVS.  See: http://www.hylafax.org/cvs.html

I'll bet it solves the problem, but if it doesn't, then somebody here can
help you effectively.  It's hard to help with problems regarding an
antiquated release.
