Basically you are affected by the RTN problem.
You could upgrade to the latest cvs where:
1) some protocol issues have been solved, and so the RTN could go away
2) as a backup solution, there's a new parameter which allow you to tell
HylaFAX to ignore RTN errors and go on sending faxes.
Your log show some problems though,
