[hylafax-users] problems with MultiTech 5600ZDX
Ok...I thought I had a problem with the USR 56k modems I had purchased,
but after replacing them with MultiTech 5600ZDX modems and things still
not working, I must be doing something quite wrong. Basically Hylafax
says it's running ok:
HylaFAX scheduler on vesta.travelingamerica.com: Running

But if I do a "sendfax -n -d 804.984.1010 -vv /etc/passwd" It shows the

Ok, well that looks ok, but nothing happens. Nothing. Faxq shows this
in the logfile

But then nothing happens. My session and server tracing are set to 11,
but it doesn't seem to trace any session. The modem does nothing.
faxstat still claims the modem is idle and waiting. The docs just sit
in the queue and rot. Anyway, I am fairly well lost at this point, and
would appreciate any and all advise. Basic stats about my machine:
RedHat 6.1 (i386)

All from rpms...
2 MultiTech 5600ZDX external modems on ttyS0 and ttyS1 (only ttyS1
configured currently)
