We have a setup I am trying to rebuild involving three modems connected
through a Cyclades multi-port serial adapter on a Linux 6.0 machine.  I have
been able to connect and communicate with two of the three modems (ttyC0 and
ttyC1) through cu, and am sure that my problem with the third (ttyD0) lies
in a kernel configuration issue which will be tracked down later.

My problem is that 'faxstat -s' shows only one modem is being used for
outbound faxing (the modem on ttyC0).  I have tried changing several options
in the config.ttyC0, config.ttyC1, and config files, in addition to several
options used in conjunction with the faxmodem command (which, from the man
page, sounds like it will do wha I am looking for...).

What am I missing?  All three modems worked on this machine at one time (we
had to rebuild the server after problems with the raid controller card).
