Hello People,
I have been quite stompped for about a week, trying to get hylafax up and
runnning
on a freebsd 3.4 system.
I have tried 3 different modems, LASAT Safire 33.6V (C1), Askey 56K (C1) and
recently
a USRobotics Sportster 56K (C2) but to no success. It woudl take to long to
get into
all of what I have tried, but the thing that puzzels me at this time, is why
faxq seems
to be killing incomming calls, which means that if I only have faxgetty
running, when
I make a fax call to the hylafax server, it picks up the line and starts to
recieve,
but as soon as I try and start faxq, and make in incomming fax call... it
doesn't
pick up the line to recieve..
Also, i have been unable to send faxes aswell... I send faxes using WHFC
v1.0.7,
outgoing faxes just hangs in the queue...!!
I have three processes running at bootime:
1) /usr/local/sbin/faxq (schedular)
2) /usr/local/sbin/faxgetty (recieve/send messages)
3) /usr/local/sbin/hfaxd -i 4559 -o 4557 -s 444 (client/server daemon)
Any help woudl be greatly appreciated...
Regards, Mourad de Riche
