Yes, it works. In the /var/spool/fax/etc has two files, both hosts and
hosts.hfaxd.
Both have the same content
localhost
127.0.0.1
I add ".*" to the hosts.hfaxd and start my whfc from my Win9x
pc and it was connected.
I can see the status "running and idle"
When I removed the ".*" it will prompt me for the
password.
I can restrict/allow users by using this file (hosts.hfaxd).
If I put the client ip address in this file it will work too.
".*" will allow all users to use the fax server.
Now that I make it so far, I still cannot fax out from whfc (win9x
client).
I can fax directly from the fax server. (linux)
When I fax from whfc it will said send successfully but 0 pages
sent.
I am sending from Linux fax server to my fax machine. The fax machine
rang but nothing comes out.
Then the log in the whfc said send successfully and even send a mail to
the user.
I tried twice and both have the same problem.
The first time I tried a plain text file and the second I tried using an
excel file.
Must I only fax postscript file (.ps)?
