Error @ faxsetup step

When installing hylafax on P133 Linux Slackware the last step, faxsetup, throws
an error that reads:

FATAL ERROR: /usr/local/bin/sendfax is not an executable program

The file does not exists it's true, but wasn't hylafax supposed to create this
file?
