flexfax: US Robotics-Hylafax-Linux

Hi,
I have:
Modem U.S.Robotics 56k Fax (Class 2.0)
SuSE Linux Kernel 2.2.10
Hylafax 4.1 beta 2-7

1.
During the initialisation of Modem, Modem return a ERROR for
FaxSend 9: AT+FAP=?\r
              5: ERROR
All other AT-Order will return OK.

2.
When i send a fax via

sendfax -n -d 1234567 /tmp/README          (default baud is 19200)
or via
sendfax -n -d 1234567 -B 9600 -M 40ms /tmp/README

only a part of the file will be received correctly on a Fax-Device. After
some good text lines i saw some lines like 'bar chars'. I took it with two
other Fax-Devices but there are received the same (sometimes more, sometimes
less).

Do you know how i can fix the bug ?
