What a good question! I haven't seen any notes published of anyone
using this, and maybe you can share some ISDN details with us.

Does it support a direct connection to the phone line? And does it
have a manual mentioning its fax capabilities? Can you use things like
"kermit" or "tip" or "minicom", depending on your operating system and
what you have installed, to set up a direct connection with it? What
are the results of running the "probemodem" tool from HylaFAX?
